Episode 13: The Last Day in the Hamptons
3:44 Runtime, Posted on Oct 26 2009
The festivities are nearing the end on the set of Evil Weed. Cynthia expresses sadness that it is the last day of filming in Montauk. The Hamptons martini shot involves Cynthia and Bekim making out and Nick being a creeper. After checking the shot, David announces the Hamptons wrap and celebration ensues around the pool. Champagne is popped again, this time purely for recreational purposes, and Cynthia shakes it up like she is celebrating a major victory or in a rap video. Bekim, exhausted, comes to terms with coming down from the high of filming. Briana thanks everyone for the wonderful experience and “Movie Life” for serving as a diary of sorts. Then the cast and crew hit the road and return to NYC.
Episode 12: The Money Shot
3:33 Runtime, Posted on Oct 16 2009
Bekim, Ryan, and Nick pantomime their performances. Fake weed is unveiled. Champagne is popped.
During the filming of an indoor scene, Jonathan convinces the guys to do their best Charlie Chaplin; the three male leads silently act out their performances in Evil Weed. On Nick’s terrace, they pantomime their parts in the movie. Ryan, always the host, begins to give an oratorical summary of the arc of his character. He then does as he is told and, this time, tells his story silently. On the last day of shooting, Shane busts out the fake weed that we saw in Episode 4 and prepares to transfer it into a smaller Ziploc bag. Brianna does not fully comprehend the measurements of marijuana. David thinks about how he can improve the living room scene. Finally, Bekim pops open the bottle of bubbly, double-entendre and all. The projectile cork flies way out of frame and disappears somewhere on the floor below.

Movie Life: What made you want to become an actor?
Cynthia LaForte: I've always been a performer, I was a ballerina, a singer, a model. I was always dressing up as a kid and putting on performances even if no one was around. I truly knew acting was for me when I realized that when my teachers would push me or be hard on me I didn't get upset or angry or want to quit, I enjoyed it. It's not that I want to work at it, I love to work at it and I love the moments of struggle just as much, possibly even more then, as when my acting is spot on.
